Remove Dirt By Vacuum:

Remove Gum from Area Rug
First of all, try to peel off the gum what you can. Then put ice cubes in a plastic bag. Harden the gum by rubbing it. Finally, scrape the gum with the help of knife or spoon.
Remove Pet Hair Using A Brush:

Remove Stains from Your Specialty Rug
To clean discolorations and stains from a room size natural fiber rug, follow the right procedure. Firstly, leave the rug in place. Cover the floor beneath it with plastic bag or cloth. Take a soft brush, dip it in soapy water and apply on the stain. Remember to blot not rub. Rinse thoroughly with clear water 2-3 times. Blot the cleaned spot dry. For speed drying, you can use a hair dryer or portable fan. Water makes the fiber weak so try to work as quickly as possible. For fat based stains such as butter, gravy or margarine try a dry solvent stain carpet cleaner.
For coffee, soft drink or tea spots use a solution of 1teaspoon liquid detergent, 1teaspoon of white vinegar in a quart of lukewarm water. Apply to the stain, rinse and blot dry.
